About Us
Meaning of ChristSeed Name:
ChristSeed was chosen
as the name of our collaboration group reminiscent of the way milkweed
plants sustain the lifecycle of the butterfly, and the way that a milkweed
pod opens in the fall, widely spreading seed. In the same way, we see
ChristSeed as a nurturing body for the area parishes and parish staffs.
We hope that our efforts grow mature plants that can continue to nurture
Catholic faith in the St. Cloud Metro. In this understanding, we
formulated the following mission and vision statements:
Mission Statement
As leaders in the parishes of the St. Cloud Metro area,
we will serve as catalysts in strategizing and collaborating to form a
greater consciousness and awareness of being a Catholic Community by using
our gifts and resources God has given us for the good of the St. Cloud Metro
Area Catholic Community.
Vision Statement
We will strive to
empower, strengthen, and energize the parish leadership (lay and ordained)
in the St. Cloud Metro Area Catholic Community to collaborate in faith
formation for all ages so as to continue to call forth the gifts of all.

In order to maintain proper
balancing of ministries and talents, ChristSeed has ensured the following
groups are represented in its membership:
Catholic Education Ministries staff are included as Ex-officio members of
